We decided to begin a startup: http://www.madeby.nl. A Dutch initiative like Etsy.com but more specific to the Dutch market. We had a designer and two backend developers on board, but needed expertise to turn the design PSD’s into HTML/CSS/Javascript, cross-browser and W3C compatible, and also responsive. SlicingArt did that job for us, and they did that very well. We didn’t even specify the choices that had to be made for display on tables and mobile phones. Within 3 iterations the results were great. We integrated the deliverd html/css(less)/js files into our web-application and went live.- Casper de Geus
The site http://www.jaap.nl is a Dutch website where visitors can search and browse sale and rental properties. It is the second largest house-related website of The Netherlands and started in 2003. In October 2013 JAAP.NL went to production with a full redesign of the site. Built by experienced backend-developers who didn’t manage to get the site working proberly on mobile devices, which caused a significant drop in mobile visitors. I created a development-environment for SlicingArt on which they could work, and within 10 days they managed to achive very acceptable results on mobile devices just by improving css(less) files. We’re definitely going to work with them more to solve our cross-browser issues as well. Good quality, delivery-time, reliable and very cost-efficient!- Casper de Geus – JAAP.NL (freelance developer)
